Challenge/Goal: The Park District wanted to add an indoor aquatic center to the facility to provide additional programming opportunities. The fitness center also needed to be expanded to accommodate its increasing membership.

Solution: SRBL spent a great deal of time with the District’s Board members, listening to their thoughts and needs, and incorporated what was heard into the design. The indoor aquatic center features two pools: a zero-depth edge leisure pool with a vortex and water play features and a four-lane lap pool. The expanded fitness center accommodated the community’s growing interest in fitness.
