Challenge/Goal: The Village had opened a 9-hole course in 1990 and decided it was time to review a use analysis for new facilities and to update the master plan for the site. The Village wanted to achieve “an extraordinary facility at an extraordinary price.”

Solution: SRBL’s design, a central two-story core with flanking wings that embrace the view to the course, more than tripled the parking and included full service locker rooms, a banquet facility for up to 250, a full service restaurant and bar, a reception area, conference room, and pro-shop. A golf maintenance building was also designed to store all chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
