Fire Stations

Speed, safety, in a place called home

Since we built our first fire station in 1988, we've been listening to firefighters about their station's unique needs. We understand that stations are both work and home to EMS and firefighters, so we design attractive and functional kitchens, climate-controlled exercise rooms and comfortable bunk spaces with operable windows.  Our stations help the team's readiness by encouraging learning, fitness, and camaraderie.

How do we know so much about fire stations? We don't just talk the talk; we've even worn the helmet. Our architects will take a shift at local fire stations to learn firsthand about the demands, routine and equipment. If there's one thing we've learned, a well-run fire station ensures a safer community.
