Challenge/Goal: This our first national partnership with Duluth-based partner LHB Architects. The City had several project goals: incorporate sustainable design, provide flexible and adaptable spaces for the future, create comfortable and efficient working spaces, and promote greater collaboration.
Solution: SRBL used pre-cast exterior walls to match the existing building onto which this new facility is being added- the St. Louis County Public Safety Building. Abundant use of glass provides ample natural light throughout the building’s interior. The facility will include evidence storage, interview rooms, multiple conference rooms, records, a state-of-the-art training room, administrative offices, investigations, and a holding area.
