Often the unsung heroes in town, Public Works crews are usually only visible when something goes wrong. When an emergency strikes, their response time can be critical. SRBL designs Public Works facilities so that when duty calls, the crew and their fleet are ready to roll.

We start by watching and understanding how the crew works. What tools and vehicles are used? How are tasks performed? What traffic patterns flow through the building? We examine storage capacity, heating and cooling, lighting and air quality.  After carefully studying the crew’s needs, SRBL develops a design solution that is both efficient and safe.  We look to provide sufficient vehicle maneuvering area, efficient response times, pleasant break areas and locker rooms, and a safer work environment for all.
