Description: The Village of Winnetka Public Works Department had outgrown its current facility and needed to create a presence for the Village on the western edge of town. A closed landfill adjacent to the property also posed a concern for the Village.

Solution: SRBL was able to take advantage of some of the existing structures on site through partial demolition and remodeling. As part of the campus upgrade, the new design reclaimed the potentially unusable landfill site to create a new landmark building, providing the Village with a gateway into the western edge of the community.
