Size:  37, 070 SF Expansion

Status:Completed January, 2004

Challenge/Goal:  The YMCA organization determined that there was a need for a family-oriented fitness facility. They decided to add an aquatic center to an existing operating facility.  The design needed to incorporate premium features to please donors but still keep budget in check.

Solution:  SRBL’s design was a two-story masonry structure that provided a split level entry foyer, gymnasium, locker rooms, multi-purpose areas, senior and youth centers, a large fitness center, indoor lap pool, and warm water therapy pool.  SRBL worked closely with the YMCA to keep the facility open and operating during the addition and renovation.
