Challenge/Goal: With the immense success of an existing facility, the Lake Forest Health and Fitness Institute wanted to expand its presence in Lake County. The project needed to be designed and built on an accelerated schedule.

Solution: SRBL designed the exterior to be traditional in appearance and to help to identify the structure as part of the existing Lake Forest Hospital campus. Included are a full-size gymnasium, elevated running track, fitness center, aerobics room, 4-lane lap pool, therapy pool, steam room, spa, massage area, multi-purpose room, day care, kitchen, cafe/deli, pro-shop, library/sitting area, specialty medical services and outpatient physical therapy/sports medicine space.
