Status: Completed June 2002

Challenge/Goal: The Park District was operating out of the Village Hall. It needed to expand its facilities in a phased manner over time.

Solution: SRBL developed a master plan that provided a phased series for construction. Phases I and II encompassed the Recreation Center which includes pre-school rooms, multi-purpose rooms, a gymnasium with elevated running track, Board Room, a Senior Room, a Dance Studio and much needed storage and office spaces for a growing recreation staff. Phase III of the master plan will provide expanded administrative offices, a larger senior center, additional multi-purpose rooms and full men’s and women’s locker facilities.
