Challenge/Goal: The Park District needed a new facility to serve an expanding population - allowing for future expansion, while maximizing square footage at a minimal cost.

Solution: SRBL designed the new facility with many programmed areas. Highlights include an indoor soccer field, full basketball courts with a multi-purpose floor surface, multi-purpose rooms, lockers, a large fitness area, and administrative offices. The design allows for an addition of a second indoor soccer component and a build-out of the open mezzanine. The project won the Illinois Park and Recreation Association’s “Outstanding Facility” Award.
