Lombard

Village Hall

Cost of Construction: $912,762

Size:  8,000 SF Addition;  20,000 SF Remodeled

Status: Completed March 1997

Challenge/Goal:  The 16-year old Village Hall was overcrowded and had significant space issues within each of the departments. To add to the challenge, the Village stayed in building during construction.

Solution:  SRBL designed a complete renovation for the Village Hall.  Work included recapturing a large lower level storage area, redesigning it for two departments, which freed up space for other departments. The design complemented many existing features of the building, while at the same time, updating the security and look of the facility.  Work included interior and furnishings design for the entire building.
